Description

Objectives

  • Provision of financial reporting and support across the Group in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain good relationships with all Departments within the Llama Group and external consultants through courteous and efficient team working.
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
  • To be personally effective and time-efficient in production of assigned work.

Responsibilities

  • Accounts receivable - issue of invoices and ensuring payments are received on time.
  • Accounts payable - processing of invoices and payments on a timely basis.
  • Banking - regular reconciliations and other ad hoc payments.
  • Development and preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Project by project reporting including variance analysis.
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Assist in preparation of cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Processing on Group monthly payroll.
  • Liaising with external auditors and accountants.
  • Any ad hoc tasks as required by the Senior Management Team.

What you'll need

  • ACCA/CIMA part qualified or newly qualified (AAT candidates also considered).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good communication skills and excellent customer skills, able to provide telephone and face to face customer support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 preferable.
