Janey Butler Interiors visits Cambodia
Andy and Janey Butler recently visited Cambodia on a research and inspiration trip, visiting potential suppliers and taking in the local sights and sounds of this beautiful Country.
Angkor Temple & Ta Prohm - Unlike most Angkorian temples, Ta Prohm is in much the same condition in which it was found: the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of Angkor's most popular temples with visitors.
After visiting the Angkor Temple, we left feeling nothing but mesmerised by what we had explored. The Architecture is simply breath taking as are the rich colours of the historic Buddha statue’s that compliment and frame the Temples giving off a rich, however soothing energy.
The inspiration from this incredible destination will be incorporated within the Spa project we will be involved in later this year.
Our visit to Cambodia has truly inspired us and we are looking forward to introducing a number of organic Cambodian finishes into our future projects. These will include: Eroded Raw Driftwoods, Luxurious Fabrics and Finishes, Candles with unique essential oils to help create a relaxing ambiance and help to enhance your mood. We also have special limited edition pieces that we will be announcing over the next few months!
Working with suppliers all over the world benefits each of our clients as they then have access to a personalised collection of organic materials and pieces for us to finish the interiors of their home & work space with.
We take pride in our reputation and only use the finest products within each project. Building up relationships with our over-seas suppliers allows us to achieve and maintain this constant stream of individuality into our Interior Design, which of course is one of the many reasons our discerning clientele come to us for.
Keep checking our Facebook and Twitter pages for a continuous flow of updates and photography.
